Dream catchers are hung usually at the entry to a room where someone sleeps. They are also hung in the corners of the room and sometimes even over the bed. Dreamcatchers filter out bad dreams and make way for the good ones. I only have a few of theseremaining. All are oof lether and wood, with beading and feather ornamentation. the feathers serve to move the energy of the dreams as well as to attract the dreams. Nearly all of the dream catchers I have left also incorporate the four directions.Often a dream catcher will have a special medicine bag attached that identifies the person who is sleeping.
The smudge fans that I have left (I will be making more of the authentic ones shortly!) are mre commercial in nature, not authentically made. They would be great for children to use since if they damage the feathers while they are learning, no real harm is done. These are really beautiful though!
